30TH September, we started our Harvest Theme Week with a creative session making scarecrow faces.

We also enjoyed a few rounds of balloon badminton to get us energised for the week.

Our lovely Farnham Mill residents weren’t deterred by the windy weather today as we ventured out to visit the Waverley Abbey Ruins – supplemented by some lovely afternoon tea, cakes and scones!

1st October, as part of our Harvest Festival Week, at Farnham Mill, we delighted our senses with the touch, smell and sight of these wonderful fresh vegetables. A reminder of the days when we prepared and cooked meals for our family and friends.

2nd October, this is our Wednesday morning at Farnham Mill. We engaged in some feet tapping Music Therapy where we were able to sing, hum and join in with some familiar sounds and tunes.

Others took the opportunity to join in with a brain teasing Harvest Fun and Facts Session with our Activities Team.

3rd October, Autumn Art and Crafts at Farnham Mill. A colourful and crisp morning as we enjoyed making our seasonal autumn wreaths.

4th October, Farnham Mill residents joined Father John and the choir this morning as we celebrated the harvest season with songs of gratitude and praise. Let’s give thanks for the blessings of abundance!

 

 

Tony Allgood brings live music to life at Farnham Mill, getting residents and families up on their feet for a day of joy, dancing, and connection!

5th October, this afternoon at Farnham Mill, our residents participated in a variety of activities from playing games on the balcony, like Connect 4 and having a cup of tea and chat together to having relaxing hand massages given by our wonderful activities team.

Celebrating a fun-filled Saturday with our amazing residents! Birthday festivities, great company and a relaxing foot spa to top it all off. A day of joy and pampering!

6th October, another busy day at Farnham Mill. The day started with our monthly residents meeting. Later Tinkerbell came to brighten our residents. We had a lovely afternoon tea with hymn singing to finish off today.
