9th Sept, at Farnham Mill, our residents are embracing healthy living and staying active with seated exercise sessions! These gentle, yet effective, exercises help improve strength, flexibility, and overall well-being, all while enjoying each other’s company. It’s a wonderful way to keep fit, have fun, and maintain a positive outlook on life.
Afternoon tea at Farnham Mill just got a vintage twist! Our residents had a delightful time enjoying tea and treats while Susie led a fun 1920s quiz, bringing a bit of history and laughter to the table. A perfect way to spend the afternoon reminiscing and celebrating the roaring ’20s together!
Our annual Farnham Mill trip to the seaside saw us board the bus and head off to Southsea. A stroll along the promenade, the sea breeze and delicious fish and chips all made for a fantastic day out.
10TH September, Farnham Mill Residents Embraced the Roaring Twenties vibe with a calming start to your morning—1920s themed therapeutic colouring to set a peaceful tone for the day.
The Pineapple Upside Down Cake was a popular and much loved, delicious dessert of the 1920’s. Continuing with our themed week in the afternoon, it was much loved at Farnham Mill as our Cooking Club baked one ready for supper tonight.
11th September, A very happy Wednesday morning, at Farnham Mill, as our Activity Team offered a choice of activities to suit all our Ladies and Gents. Some chose the tranquillity of the garden with a stroll out to see the ducks and others engaged their minds with jigsaw puzzles, word search and a very sociable game of Dominoes in the lounge. With gentle encouragement and a cup of tea everyone had a great rewarding morning full of fun and achievement.
A very fashion-conscious Art and Crafts session, this afternoon, as our Farnham Mill Ladies designed and made their own Feather Head Bands ready for our 1920’s Speakeasy Cocktail Bar at the weekend.

12th September, we welcomed back, to Farnham Mill, our very special friends from the local nursery school. Their visit, every week, brings great joy to our day and the opportunity to reminisce through the happy memories we hold in our hearts of our own families and friends. Mixing the perfect combination of young laughter, play and smiles with wisdom and kindness.
Thursday afternoon means Flower Arranging at Farnham Mill. One of our most popular clubs as it brings colour, joy and the chance to gather and socialise to our day.
13th September, in the morning we welcomed the warm sunshine, to Farnham Mill, by spending time in our glorious gardens and out on the sunny balcony. A great opportunity for a stroll to check on the flowers and wildlife or to join our Activity Team for games, reading and a singalong.

14th September, at Farnham Mill we had a special little visitor, baby Austin. He travelled the nursing home greeting all the residents with the cutest laugh and smile, bringing so much joy to everyone’s day.
Today at Farnham Mill our dining room was turned into a 1920s Speakeasy cocktail bar. The residents had a beautiful selection of canapes and cocktails to choose from and thoroughly enjoyed dining and dancing with each other and our very sparkly staff.
15th September, freshly picked home grown runner beans for Sunday Lunch at Farnham Mill. Our lovely lady was so thrilled to hand them over to our Chef this morning.
