At Farnham Mill, we believe that the joy of discovery and the sense of community should be celebrated at every age, which is why this past week, we brought the spirit of “Back to School” to life for our beloved residents.

Busy afternoon!! Some of our residents also had their day well spent at the Lake House, where our residents enjoyed the serene beauty of the water, shared stories, and made lasting memories together. A perfect getaway filled with laughter, relaxation and the tranquillity of nature.
28th August, we spent our morning, catching up on the news headlines and enjoying gentle exercise with a game of indoor skittles and music therapy in the day care centre, with our expert Gabrielle.
A time for lots of chatting and socialising at Farnham Mill, as we enjoyed fresh summer strawberries and cream on the balcony.
29th August, our residents engaged in scratch art and word games in the morning. this can be a powerful way to stimulate the minds of our residents.

31st August, everyone is welcome, at Farnham Mill, to enjoy a sunny visit or time relaxing in our beautiful gardens and balcony.

31st August, a morning of Arts and Crafts at Farnham Mill. Whilst some of the residents did some relaxing painting, others helped make cards which are sold to support the charity – Families Supporting Care.
1st September, as it’s coming to the end of our Back-to-School week at Farnham Mill, residents reminisced about school milk and who had the job of ‘milk monitor’, so this afternoon our chef made some delicious chocolate chip cookies which were served warm from the oven with a cold glass of milk. Perfect on a blustery, grey Saturday.
2nd September, we enjoyed a sociable morning at Farnham Mill as we caught up on all the news of the week.
Also, in anticipation of the schools returning soon, we had a Back-to-School themed Bingo – no doubt stirring lots of memories of school days past!
