5TH August, We started our ‘Feline’s’ From Around The world week’ with a cat’s whiskers word game in the lounge. We made 160 words and were rather proud of our achievements.
Others engaged in some gentle chair-based exercises to start our Farnham mill Monday off with a stretch.
A ‘purrfect’ Feline themed afternoon tea party, this afternoon, at Farnham Mill.
A selection of homemade cakes and biscuits and a hot cup of tea all served by our activity team of cats.
6th August, Tuesday morning, our residents enjoyed making pom pom cat crafts. Followed by fun cat trivia brushing up on our pet knowledge. Sparkling conversation about pets that we used to have at home.
The sun came out for us this afternoon at Farnham Mill so we thought what better time for a delicious snack of strawberries and cream. The residents also enjoyed a relaxing afternoon with feline painting and garden walks.
7th August, transforming lives, one note at a time. Discovering the healing power of music therapy at Farnham Mill this morning.
In the afternoon, Farnham Mill came together as a community today to discuss important topics within the homes and hear about exciting new plans ahead in the residents meeting, as well as a fun basketball practice keeping the spirits high within the home.
8th of August, music has the power to touch hearts and souls. Thursday morning, our residents experienced the magic of the Cello, reminding us of all the beauty in every note.
Cat inspired creativity filled the air today! Our residents at Farnham Mill enjoyed a sensory arts and crafts session that was both fun and relaxing. With a paws-itively delightful collage and cat paper plates. The smiles on our residents faces say it all.
Flower arranging brings the residents at Farnham Mill together bringing joy and tranquillity to our residents, one bouquet at a time!

Other residents took a trip to the pub for some laughter and social connection! Our residents enjoy each other’s company, creating cherished memories and friendships.
9th August, cat bingo in the morning, bringing joy, connection and a bit of feline fun to our residents with lots of prizes. Other residents took a moment to enjoy the simple pleasures of life with a lovely walk in the garden, enjoying the beauty of nature and good company.

10th August, Saturday morning, Bringing comfort and colour to our beloved residents of Farnham Mill.
A simple touch with therapeutic hand massages and a splash of colour can brighten their day and warm their hearts.
In the afternoon, our residents had an idealistic Saturday afternoon with a pawtastic afternoon tea with the comfort of our furry friends. We also love to have a family and friends visiting as you can see by the smile on their faces enjoying the beautiful gardens.
11th August, sunny Sundays at Farnham Mill. Enjoying balcony games, ice cream and lots of drinks to hydrate ourselves. Cherishing every moment of relaxation and togetherness whilst still promoting movement.
