Life is a journey filled with twists and turns, but we firmly believe that no matter how difficult it gets, it always gets better in the end.

A quiet start to our spring bank holiday Monday. At Farnham Mill, after a busy weekend enjoying family visits, activities and 90th birthday celebrations. In the morning, we enjoyed some one to one time with Sarah, playing games and painting in the lounge, or quietly reflecting and reminiscing, in our rooms, with a cherished family photo album.

Tuesday morning was filled with lots of variety as the activities team put on lots of different table games from painting, puzzles and noughts & crosses for all the residents.

In the afternoon, we had a pamper afternoon with nail painting and hand massages for the residents. Allowing the residents to relax and get all glammed up.

Colourful, fun, parachute games and our very own Farnham Mill bowling championship.

Our Farnham Mill gardens are looking vibrant with an array of beautiful colours and scents. We have welcomed many ducks, geese and deer so far this month and are looking forward to seeing the gardens blossom through the summer months with flowers and new visitors.

We enjoyed some mini golf, on the balcony and the opportunity to score a basket, in the lounge, with our activity team.

A very sensory and therapeutic afternoon at Farnham Mill. Our pet therapy dog, Tinkerbell, visited and we enjoyed the touch of her soft fur and the comfort from her warm cuddles. Others took part in sensory games on the omni table and the chance to look at and touch familiar objects in our lives.

Starting off our Saturday morning at Farnham Mill with word games to engage the brain and some picnic themed water colouring to allow for creativity.

Sunday, we spent the morning at Farnham Mill enjoying some warm summer sunshine with friends.

Farnham Mill was full of sunshine, smiles and laughter at our afternoon party outdoors and on the balcony. Our chef kindly prepared some lovely fresh smoothies as well as plenty of delicious cakes and treats for us to enjoy. We made sure to sing extra loud to tell the sun to stay out bit longer!!!
