Welcome to the woof-tastic world of Farnham Mill dog show week, where tails wag, paw strut, and furry champions reign supreme!
Get ready to unleash the excitement as our dog show week takes centre stage and marvel at over 6 magnificent dog breeds which show cased their grace and agility.
Our residents enjoyed various of themed activity such as dog bingo, making dog biscuits, quizzes and many more.

Monday morning at Farnham Mill we had a great start to dog show week, with a quiz to test our knowledge on famous dogs and jigsaws.

We all had a lovely afternoon, thanks to Gareth performing for our lovely residents. We all sang along, lots of dancing, movements and got our heart pumping with excitement.


Tuesday morning at Farnham Mill, we had a busy morning with both A-to-Z word games on dogs and balloon bounce to keep both the mind and brain active.

Farnham Mill residents were making the most of the beautiful weather and were very excited to get outside in our beautiful gardens this morning watching and listening to nature in the sun.


In the afternoon, the residents at Farnham Mill were busy participating in Steve’s Gardening club. The residents got very stuck, while planting the kohlrabi.

Wednesday morning, we enjoyed using the outside spaces in the balcony, as much as we can with this lovely sunny weather. We made the most of it by playing balcony games with lots of our residents and family getting involved.


We had a busy afternoon, preparing dog biscuits for the annual dog show that we are having on Friday. Luckily, we had a hand from the Lord Wandsworth College volunteers to create the delicious treats. It was a fun afternoon in the sun filled with laughter.

A delightful Thursday morning looking at Rupert and Paddington bear books that have been kindly donated by the families. The residents always enjoy how much light radiates through our activities room on sunny days and how peaceful it is.

Lots on at Farnham mill this afternoon on a nice sunny pub trip, enjoying it with some cold refreshing shandy or beer with traditional crisps with the accompaniment of our flower club.


Friday morning at Farnham Mill we had a residents meeting which this allowed the residents to hear about all the exciting plans that we have coming up. We also had lots of staff receiving sunflower prizes for their hard work. It also allowed residents to raise any concern to Alison.


Friday afternoon, we had a brilliant afternoon filled with our 4-legged friends at Farnham Mill annual dog show. It was a fun afternoon with the dogs receiving scores and prizes from the judges. It was great to see so many dogs down at Farnham Mill varying in all sizes.


Continuing with our ‘Doggie themed week’, at Farnham Mill, we enjoyed a fun game of Dog Bingo. A chance to reminisce and remember our own pets from our childhood and from our family time.


A wonderful 100th Birthday celebration, in the afternoon for our amazing lady. A special birthday tea with family,
friends and staff, balloons, a delicious 100 cake and a much-cherished happy birthday from the palace.


Some of life’s Sunday pleasures. A good book, some gorgeous may sunshine, stunning gardens, a cool drink and great company. Happy Sunday morning at Farnham Mill.

We made the most of the weather and decided to have a alfresco Sunday Lunch at Farnham Mill balcony and outside on ground floor too.


Later in the afternoon, we had the shared magazine reading with Sarah on day care centre, where our ladies were filled with laughter and giggles, following with our residents birthday where we surprised her with a vibrant cake with her favourite mangoes and wishing her a happy birthday.
