The sky’s the limit as we start our Irish themed week at Farnham Mill with balloon bounce in the morning.
In the afternoon, we held an afternoon tea party with our residents followed by an Irish themed quiz.
Tuesday morning, some of our residents enjoyed using the interactive OMI table while others chose to take part in relaxing water colour painting as well as board games.
We always make sure there is varied activities throughout the day for different needs and wants of our residents.
Tuesday is also a hair day with Teresa in the salon, our lovely ladies and gentlemen get to glam up and look smart.
We had the lovely Dave Hudson in the afternoon, serenading us with various songs, we sang along and danced together with staff and residents.
Wednesday morning, we took a dive into the enchanting world of music therapy with Gabrille and Hermione, residents are captivated by the mesmerising melodies every week.

In the morning our lovely residents also took part in making some decorations in preparation for Easter weekend.
In the afternoon, our residents played Leprechaun skittles, it was enjoyed by many as you can see from these action shots
Our residents at Farnham Mill also helped make rainbows, so our cheeky leprechaun Murphy could look for a pot of gold.

In the afternoon, our residents had a great trip to the local pub The Shepard and Flock! They enjoyed admiring all the daffodils on the route there and back.

Flower arranging Thursday, which many of our residents enjoy as they all get to be creative and make their very own beautiful arrangements.
A game of balloon badminton in the morning helps us exercise and stretch always a good way to start the day. We followed this with gold coin toss to keep in theme with St Patrick’s week.
Sometimes no words are needed, just a cuddle with a good friend.
Our Farnham Mill pet therapy dog, Tinkerbell brings warmth and love to our days.
Saturday morning, we enjoyed the glorious March sunshine with some walks and chill out time in the garden watching the birds and beautiful daffodils blooming everywhere.
While some of the residents were enjoying fresh air, others took part in a livelier game of ST. Patrick’s day bingo with our activities team and of course our special leprechaun friend Murphy.

Sunday church service was followed by our mobile library trolley.
A chance to come along and choose a book or magazine from our trolley, we visit all the rooms and lounges.
An opportunity for all to relax and enjoy the peace and calm of a good read.
