A festive Monday sensory sensation at Farnham Mill. The zesty, tangy smell of oranges, the spicy warm aroma of cloves and the sweet fragrance of cinnamon. Our sense of smell was alive with these Christmassy delights.

In the afternoon, we enjoyed a ‘Christmas cakes’ from around the world tea party. We had fun talking about and eating lots of delicious cakes with our favourite ‘Farnham Mill Tipple’- a good hot cup of tea.

Tuesday morning, we had a fun activity called ‘guess what’s in Santa’s sack’ this got us all guessing what sort of presents or equipment were inside.

Happy Christmassy birthday to our amazing lady. A time to celebrate, at Farnham Mill, with loved ones, fizz and cakes.

While some of the residents enjoyed the fresh air, we had a group of ladies and gents participating in Christmas themed hangman.

A very special Christmas Eve afternoon, at Farnham Mill, as we settled down to look and read the lovely Christmas cards made for us by the children of Waverley Abbey School.

We were so touched by their lovely words and beautiful drawings. After we enjoyed some Christmas treats including mulled wine, mince pies and chocolates.

Our Christmas lunch was very successful and merry, everybody enjoyed a lovely 3 course meal.

A quieter boxing day morning, as we enjoyed some table games, including dominoes and chitchatting with each other.

A round of balloon badminton exercise in the afternoon, to keep our residents active.

Saturday morning, we started off with tea and chitchats, some paintings and colouring throughout the home to let loose of our creative imagination.

Crown making, this afternoon as our lovely queens and kings prepare for our Farnham Mill celebrations.

Sunday morning, we had a successful time together at the sensory OMI table, where our residents reminisced, sang and felt relaxed.

We love it when our family and friends join us for afternoon tea. the door is always open, the kettle is always on and there is always biscuits in the tin.
