All aboard for an all-inclusive trip on the Farnham Mill cruise ship as we enjoyed a full roster of trips, themed parties, entertainment, and good food.
Monday 7th, it would be only appropriate to start off the World Cruise by cruising! We had a glorious day out on the Basingstoke Canal with our residents at Farnham Mill. They all had a relaxing time out in the nature and on the waterways and loved the tranquillity from it.
We all enjoyed a reminiscing sing-along throughout the trip and some boat themed songs we could think of, afterwards followed by an afternoon picnic and chat with the fellow walkers.
We all ended the four-hour trip, got our very own sticker and a group photo to commemorate the day out trip.

We sat at the Captain’s Table and enjoyed an afternoon tea with a fun Quiz.
Our gorgeous Pet Therapy Pal, Tinkerbell visited Farnham Mill for an afternoon of cuddles and Tinker Time.
Tuesday 8th we started off the morning by listening to the Sailor’s Hornpipe where we did seated exercises as well as playing balloon badminton and games.
In the afternoon we had Vic Cracknell sing and perform for us at Farnham Mill.
What a wonderful afternoon we had, everyone singing, dancing, lots of laughter and enjoying the musical performance.
Wednesday 9th a morning packed with ‘Giant Games’ at Farnham Mill.
A choice of Dominoes on the ground floor or connect four on the sunny, first floor balcony.
Lovely to see everyone joining in and having fun.
In the afternoon we had various ice creams and ice lollies to keep us hydrated and to cool down and what a treat it was!
In Farnham Mill it’s not just our residents we like to spoil! All of our team and the residents’ friends and families are always welcome to come and join us.
Thursday 10th we had some ball games on all three floors to wake everyone up and get them ready for the residents meeting.

A chance to chat about our lovely home and make plans for future events.
We are thrilled to celebrate our staff for their dedication and care and a chance to acknowledge three member of staff who have been part of our Farnham Mill team for five years.
An afternoon, full of smiles at Farnham Mill.
We enjoyed flower arranging, listened to piano music on the second floor and time in the garden checking on the veg and more cuddles with Tinkerbell.

Friday is pampering day every week, we all got relaxed and ready for the weekend with some nail care and hand massages.
In keeping with our cruise themed activity week, we stopped by the Caribbean at Farnham Mill with our food trolley.
Treats included marinated chicken skewers and a tropical fruit bowl.
Saturday 12th Ahoy! Some cruise ship themed word games and colouring/painting in all floors, approved by the captains at Farnham Mill.
Everyone all aboard for our very own FM cruise afternoon tea party.
Sunday 13th included a church service with everyone welcome. Followed by a bit of painting and dominoes as well as 1 to 1 chats and garden walks.
Happy hour aboard the HMS Farnham Mill this afternoon with our tropical cocktail trolley, to round off Cruise week!
