We celebrated Easter week with glorious sunshine and a chance to enjoy our wonderful grounds. On Monday 6 April the residents took the opportunity to watch the ducks on the pond and making sure they could identify them all.
Even the cat was watching the ducks!
Because outside visitors are not allowed but many of our residents enjoy having their hair washed and blow dried, some our fabulously multi-talented carers did a brilliant job of turning their hands to hairstyling. We are thrilled with the results!
On Tuesday morning we had our daily exercise club with Michael. He always makes these sessions such fun.
Tuesday afternoon was a day for our Gardening Club, planting up lots of new seedlings in our lovely courtyard. This warm weather is helping them grow. We shall have a lovely display soon.
On Thursday we made some table decorations to brighten up our dining room for Easter.
We also loved singing along while finishing off our Easter Bonnets ready for tomorrows competition.
Friday 10 April, we had our Easter Bonnet Competition. Alison had a very difficult job judging all our beautiful creations
Alison also treated us all with chocolate eggs and a surprise visit from her pygmy goats.
Friday afternoon our ‘Farnham Mill Arms’ opened up again. A chance to chat with friends and enjoy a drink and reflect on our busy morning.
On Saturday, Sarah run a series of quiz’s and other board games we could all join in on.
It was also another lovely day to be out in the gardens and courtyards, which we all took maximum advantage of.
On Sunday morning our lovely carers took over the hair salon again this time to paint nails and give hand massages for a bit of pampering to lift our spirits.
And on Easter Sunday afternoon, what could be better than a glass a sherry or prosecco out on the terrace.
