🏮Chinese New Year Week🏮
Lunar joy filled Farnham Mill Nursing Home as residents celebrated Chinese New Year Week in vibrant style. From colourful festive craft, cooking and lots of shared laughter, it was a celebration of culture, friendship and new beginnings. 🧧✨
Outing
Our Farnham Mill residents hopped onto the minibus to enjoy a lovely local outing to Waverley Abbey. They look in the lovely snowdrops and crisp.
Flavours of Lunar New Year 🥟
Our residents rolled up their sleeves to prepare spring rolls together; these are a staple of New Year celebrations, symbolising prosperity. Residents filled wrappers with fresh vegetables and enjoyed the finished results as part of a Chinese food trolley. It shows the power of food to connect people and traditions across different cultures.
