Monday afternoon is group physio time at Farnham Mill. We are so proud of our ladies and gents who always try their hardest.
Continuing with a tradition, that started in the 1840’s, “Cream Tea” this afternoon at Farnham Mill.
A very sociable afternoon Cream Tea with homemade scones served with fresh cream and strawberry jam and of course, a big pot of tea.
All we had to do, was decide if it should be jam or cream first! 😊
31stOct, Tuesday morning, we were scoring points early in the morning with our Halloween bean bag toss game.
A great way to exercise our arms and have fun at the same time.
Happy Halloween from everyone at Farnham Mill.
A huge thank you to our wonderful neighbours who joined us for a ‘trick’ or ‘treat’ gathering in the evening.
Witches, cats, monsters, and a very cute little pumpkin held out their baskets for our residents to spoil them with Halloween treats.
1st November, Wednesday morning, we enjoyed the warmth of music, friends, and a delicious hot chocolate with treats all around the home.
2nd Nov, Thursday morning, with Firework night fast approaching, our residents at Farnham Mill took inspiration from a bonfire when decorating their cupcakes this morning.
We also looked at the Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot with our residents and jogged our memory together in the morning.
Thursday afternoon, we had our flower arranging group of ladies and gents create their own beautiful arrangements and our care partner Annie led a flower arranging demo for others.
Friday 3rd, when we say that everyone is welcome at Farnham Mill, we really do mean it!!!
Be it family, friends, residents, staff, or our furry friends. We really are one, every growing, family.
In the afternoon, we had the lovely Chrissie entertain us, we sang along and danced to some of our old-time favourites.
It was a pleasure to welcome Chrissie to Farnham Mill.
Sat 4th, a wonderful art and craft morning here at Farnham Mill.
Sticking with the fireworks theme and creating some lovely collages.
In the afternoon, our residents enjoyed some cheese and wine while watching fireworks display on the telly.
Say cheese!
Sunday 5th was full of dog cuddles from Tinkerbell our pet therapy dog, who is always a welcomed visitor by the residents.
Some of our residents also enjoyed an afternoon tea with lovely baked treats.
