Halloween week has been very busy with visiting pygmy goats, ghostly afternoon teas and a fortune telling trolley which visited residents around the home.

Monday, 25 October and as it was such a lovely day, we explored the gardens at Farnham Mill and enjoyed the sunshine.  It was also a day to catch up with friends around the home.

In the afternoon we were busy making our Halloween decorations using paper plates.

Tuesday 26 October and our ladies loved visiting our hairdresser in the home.  It’s a lovely experience in our hair salon, one of our favourite days of the week.

Wednesday morning and we played some balloon games around the home.  It’s a fun way of staying active and involves lots of stretching and reaching for that balloon.

Later on, Wednesday we had Alison’s Pygmy goats visit the home.  Its great fun seeing them and we get to feed and stroke them.

Wednesday was finished off with a lovely afternoon tea with some delicious cakes and treats and a chance to catch up with friends.

Thursday started off with balloon games before having a go at pumpkin carving.   It was hard work but lots of fun, although quite messy.

Thursday afternoon was our flower arranging club – we all love to get together to arrange the flowers and it’s a great opportunity to reminisce about our gardens and experience with flowers.

On Friday 29 October we were treated to some Halloween spooky mocktails.  Such interesting names!!  We didn’t know which ones to choose.

With the sun shining on Saturday morning it was time to get some putting practice in.  Its lovely having the balcony at Farnham Mill to enjoy these autumn days on.

Sunday was a great day for Halloween fun – a fortune telling trolley that visited all the residents and then a spooky afternoon tea.  What a great end to a busy week.
