Rafael is a life size Rhinoceros, painted by Tom Yendell, a well-known, local foot and mouth painter. Tom was a former pupil enrolled at Lord Mayor Treloar’s School and still lives in Hampshire. Rafael was kindly donated by the Cubitt family, who had bought him at a Charity Auction for their own home.
He is a wonderful, colourful addition to our Homes gardens. Our residents really love him and he is a great talking point. We are very grateful to the Cubitt’s for their very kind gift.
