A bit of Spring sunshine was brought to Farnham Mill by the stunning Stacey, who sang for us. Many of us joined in singing and dancing.

We also celebrated Evelyn’s 90th birthday with her friends and family. The first of many birthdays at Farnham Mill in May.

Thursday the 2nd we had a trip out to look at the gorgeous bluebells at woodlands in Ellisfield.

In the afternoon we had our now regular Farnham Mill Singalong with Sarah on the top floor. Most of the residents get the musical instruments out to accompany the singing.

Friday mornings’ the Men’s club get together. On the 3rd they chose to play Darts.

On the 6th after News minute and out May quiz we had art club and water colour was the choice of the day.

The Domino club was in full swing on the morning of the 7th. There are more teams every week.

After lunch Terry Owen put on a wonderful show. Terry had everyone singing and swaying along. Being a real charmer as he serenaded and gave all of the ladies yellow roses.

After word search in the morning, some of the residents had a trip out to the Lake house for lunch.

We had a nostalgic men’s club taking them back to their youth of paper aeroplanes on the 9th.

Our Flower arranging club produced some spectacular bouquets now all the spring flowers are in on the 10th.

Brighter Horizons Nursery visit is always a highlight of the week. Swotting bubbles was the favourite game out on the balcony in the lovely weather.

Happy Birthday celebrations were with Pippa and Margaret. Both had delicious cakes made by our lovely Lorraine.

The 13th, Dominoes and Jigsaw Club was on this was followed by a visit Pat the Dog with Zara and her owner.

Tootsies Nursery visited in the afternoon. The relationship between the residents and the children is growing sweeter.

On the 14th we celebrated Donut week with an unusual word search and a selection of different donut treats.

Wednesday mornings everyone gets moving with Balloon Bounce

Phil Harmonic played for us in the afternoon in our 2nd floor lounge on the 14th.

We choose painting for art club on the 16th. It was a really good chance to chat and catch up with our friends.

The trip out this week was to Bagshot Lea Garden Centre. We had a wonder around looking at the colourful displays before going for a cuppa and a cake.

Friday the 17th Natasha “Get happy” came to entertain us. She was such fun and had everyone to join in.

Monday the 20th we had ball games in the morning followed by a visit from Zara, Pat the dog.

On the morning of the 21st it was a lovely day, so some of the residents decided to have a wonder in the along the pond.

In the afternoon of the 21st Edgeborough School Choir sang and performed for us. After their show the children came over and chatted to the residents.

The sun was out again on the 22nd so many residents choose to spend some time in the garden.

Kelly Kadabra Magic show is fast becoming our favourite show. The residents love her wit and banter as well as her magic. She visited us on the 24th.

We went on another Lake House lunch trip on the 28th with our friends. It has beautiful views over the fishing lakes.

Billy came to sing to us on the 29th. He had us up and dancing and singing along.

We celebrated National Nurses day with Farnham Mills dedicated nursing team. The residents made old style nursing hats.

On the 30th we also had a presentation by Alison and her team of certificates for our wonderful team.

We enjoyed a quiet morning doing jigsaws on the morning of the 31st before a wonderful flute concert by Mary on the top floor.
